Nairobi to Maputo

Arrive at Maputo International Airport (MPM) and transfer to your hotel. Spend your late afternoon walking along the Marginal, the city’s scenic beachfront drive. Watch the sun set over Maputo Bay with a fresh coconut in hand before a welcome dinner featuring traditional Galinha à Zambeziana (grilled chicken).

Spend the morning in the Baixa (Downtown) district. Marvel at the dome of the Railway Station, visit the Natural History Museum with its unique exhibits, and step inside the Iron House. Head to the newly built Maputo Fish Market. Choose your own seafood and have it cooked to perfection at the adjacent restaurants. Enjoy a final stroll through the Central Market for spices and cashew nuts before your afternoon transfer to the airport for your flight back to Nairobi.
